Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
General
The Rosh HaAyin Entrepreneurs Center respects the privacy of its website users and operates in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13, and the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017.
This policy explains what personal information is collected on the site, for what purposes, how it is stored and secured, and what rights you have regarding it.
What Information We Collect and Why
Meetup RSVP form: full name and phone number, together with the date of the meetup you registered for. This information is used solely to manage registration and attendance at meetups.
Join form: full name, phone number, and optionally your email address and business name. This information is used solely to contact you regarding your request to join and the mentoring offered by the Center.
In accordance with Section 11 of the Protection of Privacy Law: providing this information is voluntary and is not required by law; however, without it we will not be able to register you for a meetup or process your join request. The information is intended only for the Center's team and authorized personnel of the Youth, Young Adults and Sport Division of the Rosh HaAyin Municipality.
Your information will not be used to send marketing messages without your separate, explicit consent, in accordance with Section 30A of Israel's Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982 (the "anti-spam law"). It will not be shared with third parties except as needed to operate the service as described in this policy, or as required by law.
Where Data Is Stored; Transfer Abroad
The information is stored in Google's Firebase platform (Firestore). The database is hosted in the me-west1 (Tel Aviv) region of Google Cloud; however, some related Google services may also operate on servers outside Israel.
Any such transfer is made to a recognized international service provider committed to accepted data-security and privacy standards, and in accordance with Israeli law governing the transfer of data outside the country.
Data Security
We implement security measures in line with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017, including encrypted communication (HTTPS), restricted access to data, and controlled admin permissions.
Access to the admin interface and to the data is limited to authorized personnel only, via approved Google sign-in. That said, no online system is completely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected — managing meetup registrations and handling join requests — or as required by law. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights: Access, Correction, Deletion
In accordance with Sections 13 and 14 of the Protection of Privacy Law, you are entitled to review the information held about you, and to request the correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, or its deletion.
To exercise these rights, or for any privacy-related question, contact us by email: meoded123@gmail.com. We will handle your request promptly and within the timeframes set by law.
Minors and Policy Updates
The site and the Center's activities are intended primarily for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with information without such consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with its last-updated date noted at the top.
